I went to see the new Simpsons movie today and quite enjoyed it. It hearkens back to the older days of the Simpsons and didn't have the same feel as the new episodes (I feel the newer episodes have a more forced style of humor). Animation was great, too (ToonBoom is listed in the credits, BTW). Most of it was 2D but there were some 3D bits in it also. There are even a few moments that are very heartwarming or will bring a lump to your throat... as the old episodes had done. And even better, the show wasn't full of 'guest' voices, as I had feared it would.

Oh yeah, make sure you sit through the credits...
