nice work

Well hello there...I'm looking forward to having some nice, adult, in a good sense of the word, discussion of this art form on line. The site is beautiful and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.

Thanks NancyB.

Welcome to the forum. I hope that we can maintain an 'adult' level of discussion here... although I'm all for developing the child in us too... especially when it comes to animation. Smile

But of course I know what you're getting at and I hope too that we can be mature in our deliberations, even if contributors here are worlds apart in philosophy and technique. Ultimately we are all animators, seeking to improve, evolve, inspire and even educate audiences in everything we do. That has to bring kinship I hope, not opposition.

Anyway, welcome again. (And I can't wait to read your book when it comes out later in the year... we have definitely needed a good book on storyboarding and storytelling for a long, long time now!)

Please come back and tell us all about it sometime soon. Smile

Best wishes,

Tony. :^{)}=-

Tony,

I'm glad to have found this forum and I'm excited about what you're doing with the Animaticus Foundation. I'm definitely in sympathy with the goals of your organization.

Looking forward to seeing this forum develop. I'll help spread the word.
(I'll put a link on my blog in the morning). Late night , so I'm going to turn in for now , but I'll be back .

Best,

Congratulations on the site. I look forward to viewing and participating in some articulate conversations about animation and animated films. I'm a diehard 2D guy, and love to talk about it.

Hi guys.

Sorry for the delay in responding. We're trying to make Foundation's first animation festival a really great event and so my time has totally been taken up in working towards that... as well as finishing up my latest film, "Fire Gods", at the same time!

Anyway, thank you for your comments and I too look forward to sharing discussions with everyone here from time to time. However, between now and the festival in mid-November, please forgive me if my responses are not immediate. I will check in on the site on a regular basis but it may not be daily for a while yet.

Glad you guys are supporters of 2D animation. It has a lot of evolving to do but I see no reason why it shouldn't become a major animation force yet again. Maybe you guys can help to make it so? Smile

Best wishes,

Tony. :^{)}=-
