What happened to all the Disney model sheets on the internet? Before you could find model sheets to just about any movie including rough animator drawings. All the former sites I used to go to now link to that content less Dreamworks website. Did Disney shut these sites down citing copyright infringment? Please get back.

I can't help you if you search for a specific model sheet. But I've seen enough of them posted on several animator's blogs over the last years.

It's the way to bet, yes. The material is copyrighted.

There's a great site called the Internet Archive Wayback Machine that lets you see websites as they were ages ago. I found the Disney model sheets using it:

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.animationarchive.net/Model%20Sheets/

Just click the date you want to look at and it will show you the site as it was on that date. Not all the model sheets are there but a lot are.

Hope this helps!
